Yeah he really has a very thin skin

QuoteOne of the defining features of Donald Trump, besides his creepy obsession with his eldest daughter and inability to ever tell the truth, is that he has the thinnest skin of any mammal on earth. (Yes, biologists, even thinner than the African spiny mouse!) The human embodiment of the phrase "can't take a joke," this is a man who apparently ran for president because Barack Obama teased him at the White House Correspondents' dinner, an event known for its roasts. Later, as leader of the free world, he flew off the handle after Meryl Streep said she was unhappy about him mocking a disabled reporter; he angrily tweeted that the Oscar-winning actress was "overrated" and "a Hillary flunky who lost big." He threw a hissy fit and canceled his trip to Denmark after he was informed that he couldn't buy Greenland, claiming it was "nasty" for the prime minister to call the idea of him buying the place "absurd," which it quite obviously was. Last fall, he threatened to withhold the COVID-19 vaccine from New Yorkers because Andrew Cuomo was supposedly mean to him.

Another thing we know about Trump is that during his time in office, he never once hesitated to use the full weight of the federal government to go after his enemies, and so really, it's in no way surprising to learn that he tried to use the Department of Justice—among other agencies—to get various late-night shows, including Saturday Night Live, to stop making fun of him.

According to two people familiar with the matter who spoke to The Daily Beast, Trump repeatedly asked lawyers and advisers what the Federal Communications Commission, the courts systems, and the DOJ could do to "probe or mitigate" SNL, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and other late-night shows, which relentlessly mocked him for being a national embarrassment.

Hey dude that's part of the job.  Heat.  Kitchen.
God of making the characteristic which becomes dirty sends the hurricane.

Why would any man so sensitive to criticism run for the most criticized office in the world?

I still felt obliged to point out that this attitude in a sitting US president is not in the least bit new.

Even the Clintons & a number of Democrat cronies tried to push The Fairness in Broadcasting Act of 1993 because they didn't like the direction talk radio was going.

^ So it was evil with Clinton, so that levels the playing field for your hero to do the same?
I don't give a flying f**k about Clinton or Trump- but just because you got caught f**king a goat, pointing to your neighbor and saying- "He was f**king goats too!" does not make you better.
I know you ain't that ignorant.

I don't know where I'll ever use this saying, but I'm going to remember it for later.
