Jam or jelly?

WTF is powdered jelly? Is it like dry Kool Aid?
Did it turn your teeth red or purple? Because my son Eddie ate a pack of grape Kool Aid when he was very young, and his whole face was dyed purple.

It is like dry Kool Aid. You can make jelly pudding or whatever by using it and whatever flavor I ate, my teeth went that color.

The more you know

Jams are made from crushed or chopped fruit (some people use puréed fruit) and are often less firm than jellies. Preserves contain whole fruit or large pieces of fruit suspended in a firm-jelly or a less gelled fruit syrup. Marmalades are jellies that contain pieces of citrus fruit suspended evenly throughout.
