One of Charles Band's first films. Dull, utterly dull. It's not badly acted or anything, just nothing ever really happens.

I'd go with "The Day Time Ended" over this one; at least that one has stop motion, Matte paintings, & a model space ship chasing people around a house. Not much story, but cool traditional FX, & I like traditional FX.

Maybe Band should've had his writers combine both scripts?

i saw End of the World (1977) that one was painfully bad, that's also one film that i started to watch at least 50 times i know the number isn't that high but i'm just throwing any number out there to just say that i tried to watch it and couldn't get past the opening which is pretty good actually. which has Christopher  Lee in that Restaurant scene. other than that it was pretty bad.

Band's Crash (1977) also is a painful sit as well. i haven't seen The Day The Time Ended (1980) though i think it's Jim Davis's last Theatrical film one wonders why he even did that one?  you'd think with him being on Dallas which was a huge hit when he was on it. shot him to stardom why do a Band film?

you'd think he'd get maybe better scripts?    i have no idea what his worst film even his but he's got a lot of them that are so bad that they are literally painfully hard to sit through (1992)'s Seed People comes to mind.

Band couldn't afford good writers. Or good anything. He's Charles Band.

Don't get me wrong! I enjoy lots of his films!

honestly he's done a lot of great films and a lot of really bad ones too.  Puppet Master 3 (1991) is easily one of my all time favorites so is Re-Animator (1985) and From Beyond (1991) all Band films, Dolls (1987) was also Band and that's a great one too he also put out Tourist Trap (1979) as well so he has done plenty of good ones you just have to find them that's all.
