Rev. Powell

One of my favorite comedians, dead from cancer at 61.

He was notoriously fired from SNL for insubordination (for telling jokes about OJ Simpson, who was a close friend of an NBC executive).

He could make the lamest joke ridiculously funny through his deadpan delivery. Here's the famous "moth" joke he told on Conan: https://youtu.be/jJN9mBRX3uo

Lots of material here for fans: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJNky9LM9wx0cmWfrg5eUcw

I loved his jokes. He was my favorite SNL anchor.   Best Bob Dole impression they had as well.  Show was never the same after he left.

R.I.P Norm MacDonald.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Such a bummer. I remember his relentless dragging on O.J. during "Weekend Update," and I was just talking about his movie "Dirty Work" to my brother a couple of weeks ago, saying that I need to revisit it, cuz it's been quite a while since I last saw it. R.I.P., sir.

He also did a fantastic Burt Reynolds...

It's been over a week and I'm still watching Norm clips. I really loved this guy.

Here he is as the last standup to appear on Letterman. Funny set with an ending that makes me tear up.

Never watched the guy but I've seen some funny clips on YouTube. If I wanted to get into his works where would I start?
