You know what's good exercise? Walking like Groucho Marx. Just don't do it in public unless you want a bunch of chiropractors to give you their cards.

Work is wanting me to go to their work party.  I'm not looking forward to seeing my ex-manager there.
He wasn't there, thankfully.
yeah no.

The Flat Tire Fallacy would be a better way to look at this famous economic problem.
getting a flat tire is a lot more common than getting a broken window https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parable_of_the_broken_window what tires and windows have in common is they both have a natural life span.

Of course, it's great for tire stores if people drive over nails, but is that really the best way to stimulate the economy? some would say so (not me obviously)

Got some beautiful rest over this Thanksgiving break, and then the night before I go back to school I suddenly have insomnia.  Gotta go teach all day on about 3 hours' sleep now.  Ugh.

Tell them they are having a movie appreciation day, stick on Manos and just rest your head while they watch in horrid fascination.

I used to wonder if dust was mostly shed skin cells, why people put dust covers on the furniture in summer houses they're closing up for the season, but then it occurred to me, ghosts must shed skin cells too.

Ash managed to trip and fall while running to the toilet (he runs everywhere). As he fell he smacked the side of his face off the toilet bowl and now has a rather swollen face and a large bruise. I've been watching his pupils to make sure they are the same size, watching for signs of nausea and so forth. The joys of parenthood.

I don't think I would like me really.
