So on Threads I've been seeing a lot of 2019 vs 2024 selfies and i decided to try it out. I don't recognize myself from 2019 at all, that's how much I've changed.

not that I take selfies but I doubt I'd be any different, just a bit balder and greyer... 2019 seems like last month to me, lol

So far the 2020's have been a blur since 2022, 2020 and 2021 felt like an anchor dragging on the ocean floor. The 2000's and 2010's feel like an eternity ago.
But as for not recognizing myself from 2019....well, you be the judge of that.

2025 is most likely going to suck for me; I'm likely going to lose two relatives this year. One us in hospice care after suffering from a stroke, the other is in a nursing home and their mind is deteriorating.

Are you finding it harder to feel entertained? If so, is that a side effect of aging, as in you've seen and heard it all, or....are things truly less entertaining?

Anyway, have you noticed it's more difficult to experience a pleasant level of entertainment anymore?
