About the Asteroid, I was thinking of Meteor (1979) myself, but there are a number of options here. Deep Impact, for one.

That is the problem I am having. Most of the remaining icons could be any one of a number of movies.

1 the groundhog and a clock - Groundhog Day
2 Charles De Gaulle in the crosshairs is from DAY OF THE JACKAL.
3 Bottom left a naked Sir Ben Kingsley   in Gandhi.
4. Bottom right: the guy with the sign is Bruce Willis from Die Hard With a Vengeance. In the movie, the sign says something different.
5. The Subway 123 sign with the AR 15 could be The Taking Of Pelham 123.
6. The embracing couple: From Here To Eternity.
7. The window with 1962 and the bars on it: Birdman of Alcatraz.
8. The bird with the pistol: I think this could be Three Days of the Condor.
9  The guy on the phone in the middle: Liam Neeson from Taken.
10 . Next to Sir Ben: Cleopatra.
11  Centre bottom: the sub is from Das Boot / The Boat.
12. Top right: the swimming pool could be from the very disturbing film The Swimmer with Burt Lancaster.
13 The white steamer boat is (I think) from The African Queen.
14. Marie Antionette, the severed head next to the sword.
15. Speaking of the sword, Braveheart.
16. Guy walking up the stairs at the top right, Truman Show.
17  Devil dressed in red, The Devil Wears Prada.
18. the wanted poster- SUMMER OF SAM.
19 I think in the bottom right corner right above  SONY is Angelina Jolie in Mr. and Mrs. Smith
20. Not sure- but I think the arm of the Statue of Liberty is from PLANET OF THE APES (1968).
21. The store sign says HAIRDRESSER and the number is 1975: I'm sure that's a reference to the movie Shampoo.
22. Veternarian and 1967: probably Dr Doolittle.
23 The ouija board and the hospital: Horror Hospital from the 1970s?
24. Person in the blue dress being kissed: Beauty & The Beast?
25. The weird thing behind the boat: possibly the gate from Stargate?
26. Nic Cage at the opened barred window (date 1997): Con Air?
27 I'm pretty sure that the red asteroid falling is Armageddon
