Saw an oddly animated film called "The Exigency" that apparently took one guy 13 years to make. I saw a review for it and knew what I was getting into, kind of. I finally saw it and I had a range of emotions.
The beginning is humorous with some decent action. However, it slows down a lot and gets somewhat more serious. Tonally, it's all over the place. I go from laughing, to super serious. I didn't know how to feel. It's what I expect from a no budget indie film but definitely is something unique. The animation is horrible but in time I got used to it and actually started liking it. It's an acquired taste for sure.
Voice acting was okay, but some of it was also bad. It's both intentionally and unintentionally funny in spots. I can best describe it as a beautiful mess.

Recommended for a quick watch when you have 2 hours to kill.
