^ It does look like I would enjoy it.
I'm an artist (ok, a cartoonist), and I like visuals more than narrative.
Do you think I really care if Captain America beats the Red Skull? No. I just want to see Kirby's pencils and Sinnott's inks. The art was amazing.
I feel the same about some films. I don't care what's going on. As long as the visuals are amazing.

I would list a Valentino film; but I never sat through one!

I sat through this a few years ago at TCM:

99. THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE (1921)  It's the film that made RUDOLPH VALENTINO a star.

The Black Pirate (1926) 

Douglas Fairbanks (the original) you can tell did his own stunts.. which were amazing. He made swinging from the ropes and diving look effortless.  Plus, it's actually a darned good story that holds up.
