My life came to a shuddering halt on what was normally the best of days for me as I witnessed the horror unfolding in New York: my heart broke then and it still hasn't healed completely.

RIP to the passengers and crew in the airplanes, the people in the towers and at the Pentagon: I hope to one day come to New York and pay my respects.

I've always believed the official narrative, that bin Laden was the main actor and driving force behind these attacks.
But the conspiracy theories go on to this day . . .

theres a clip from 9/10 of Rumsfeld talking about the pentagon being unable to account for 2.3 trillion dollars. In reality, he was talking about the pentagon's antiquated/ non existent audit system where money was allotted and generally just trusted to the department. There was no "missing" 2.3 trillion it was just not kept track of properly.

One of my FB friends buys into every single one of those batsh*t insane conspiracy theories about 9/11.
The idea that hundreds of people could coordinate a conspiracy of that magnitude and then ALL keep their mouths shut about it for the next 20+ years is nuts.  Someone would have cracked - the old "secret too big to keep" scenario would kick in.

Certainly a terrible time.  I had customers in the WTC, all okay.  I'm proud to say that PCTB rose to the occasion at my insistence.   For weeks, I found tears running down my face.  Weird dreadful memories.  I don't talk about it.

I was listening to Howard Stern show and as it happened they began to report on it. One thing he said has stayed with me "we knew something like this was gonna happen" . Al Qaeda had been growing and had already attacked the WTC 8 years earlier. you didn't have to be a foreign plicy to genius to see what they were trying to do as an organization
