I hate it when cinemas / theaters close

The Brooklyn Mall near me has two cinemas / theaters, one for the cinema snobs   and the other for common plebs like me: the Cinema Nouveau closed yesterday I was told  

I saw a lot of films there that I otherwise wouldn't have been exposed to over the years and I also saw a film I worked on there.

I remember when I came to SA in 1987, the suburb of Sunnyside had seven (!!) theaters in one street! Now all gone sadly
