Just bought The Wild Geese on DVD

You might think that's strange that I don't have this SA made movie in my collection. I do, but not the uncut version which this one claims to be.

It is uncut, brand new and is the Gernan dubbed version: I know the fim well so this will be an interesting watch 😊😊

"The Wild Geese" was also the nickname of a British regiment that inflicted heavy losses on the Highlanders at Culloden. They had a brutally effective drill that was based on knowing he Highlanders would raise their right arms to swing their swords, leaving them venerable there, so instead of every British soldier bayonetting forward, then struck left, into the man in front of their immediate comrade, coming in under the uplifted arm. It was how many Highlanders died there.

The dubbing is good: I think Hardy Kruger dubbed his own character 's voice 🙂
