Chess or Checkers?

Only due to the fact nobody I know actually plays chess so I've never learned.

Same board for both but that's like comparing playing around the world to a full-on basketball game just because they use the same court, isn't it? Checkers is light fun and chess is high concentration. I'd pick chess, I guess. I'm not great at either. In fact I'm only good at a few things in life. I'm basically a dullard who knows trivia and can write.
