In all honesty, I know a lot of otherwise good and decent people who have fallen under his spell.  People who donate to charities, work to feed the homeless, raise their kids to be honest and respectful - and yet somehow (I blame decades of indoctrination by right wing talk radio and FOX News) they are completely blind to the fact that he is everything we teach our kids not to be; everything that Jesus preached against, and everything that would totally outrage us if it was done by anyone else.

I don't get it.  Never have, never will.
It's like black magic.
You mean like when Joe Biden got caught with stolen documents dating back to 1974?
Or when he got caught taking bribes from Burisma?
Or when Hilary wiped out a hard drive that was under subpoena & took a hammer to her staff's cell phones?

Are you trying to win a whataboutism contest?

Why anyone with an IQ above 10 would vote for this traitor is beyond me.

I dislike him too, but I reserve my contempt for the man himself, not his supporters. I know you're sincere, but that could be read as trolling.

if that's the case, call me a troll too. and ftr, the same goes for any hatred you see from me about the evil pat robertson FINALLY dying.

And yet you do it yourself. Sounds lie BS to me.
I don't think you even know what your talking about.

I'll tell ya- the proof is that Trump has been charged with these crimes. He even admitted to commiting them on live TV. What more do you want? I think your one of those guys who of Trump once said " I could shoot someone on Mainstreet and no one would care."
Brainwashed by a cult leader.
I'm done discussing this with you. Like Rev said- you ain't gonna change my mind and you'res is full of Trump's furniture.

If you read the 27 counts of the indictment, you will find abundant verification of the charges against Trump.  It's worth noting that it wasn't Jack Smith that voted to indict Trump, nor was it Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton - it was a grand jury of people from Florida - a deep red state with a Republican governor.  THEY reviewed the evidence and found it sufficient to justify 27 counts violating 7 Federal laws.

31 counts of willful retention of national defense information
One count of conspiracy to obstruct justice
One count of withholding a document or record
One count of corruptly concealing a document or record
One count of concealing a document in a federal investigation
One count of a scheme to conceal
One count of false statements and representations

Not much different front hilary & biden have gotten away with so far, the difference being, trump had decalcified his documents.
It's your cult-like assumption that anyone who disagrees with you is in a cult, or your cult-like hatred of one man after two years of the worst administration in history is downright disturbing.

First of all, the allegations against Hillary Clinton were thoroughly investigated by a Republican House Committee that was desperate to indict her for something, ANYTHING.  And by the Republican FBI Director James Comey - who even re-opened the investigation, a week before the election, essentially handing Trump the White House.  In the end, she was cleared of any crime.  Trump chanted "Lock her up!" throughout her campaign, but could find no excuse for doing so.  NOT THE SAME.
Biden actually ordered his staff to search his papers for classified info after the Trump story became public to see if anything had been overlooked.  When they found a handful of relatively low-level documents, he immediately invited the FBI to do a full investigation and cooperated in every possible way.  NOT THE SAME.
Trump did NOT declassify the documents he held - in fact, they have him ON TAPE admitting the stuff he was showing to a friend (who lacked ANY security clearance) was "classified secret" and had not been declassified. DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME.
Not that any of this will convince you.  But facts are what they are.

As far as "the worst administration in history," - I'M A HISTORIAN.  Joe Biden's term is not done yet.  He's had some failures and some accomplishments.
Every historian I know - and I know MANY - considers him a better President than his predecessor.  Even many conservative historians rank Trump a failure.
My personal opinion?  Compared to men like Lincoln, Washington, and FDR, Joe Biden is a mediocre President.
Compared to Trump - he IS Lincoln, Washington, and FDR rolled into one.

ER

Let me say that I have worked in offices that handled many classified documents, and there is no way, simply no way, anyone in any position exposed to classified materials would be left unaware of the seriousness of what is often inside them.

Before you get close to them you are trained and periodically re-trained in procedures for handling anything classified. You not only receive extensive training and are closely monitored and audited to make sure you are following the procedures taught in training, you are required to pass tests that show you understand the nature of classified materials, which generally involves writing out passages relating to procedure and law in your own handwriting so that in the event of a violation there is no deniability, and you are without excuse held accountable.

Therefore I can only conclude in his gross mishandling of these materials President Trump:

1. Did not understand laws and procedures governing classified documents. (Which is too far-fetched for reality.)

2. Was unaware the materials were classified. (Which is too far-fetched for reality.)

3. Arrogantly felt himself above laws and regulations pertaining to the handling of classified materials, or callously disregarded procedure.

Politics aside, even with a former President there should be consequences for failures in any of these scenarios. It is far too serious.

By that statement alone, you reinforce the inescapable appearance of bias and partisanship.
