Remains found in the search for Julian Sands.

Human remains have been found in the area where Julian Sands went missing. The body has yet to be formally identified. Hopefully if it is him, the recovery of the body can give his family closure.

I suppose find a body is better than not ever knowing.

Been dreading this.

Me, I'd rather never be found for a lot of reasons, not the least of which, the mystery. Just as "went to seek Pancho Villa and was never seen again" makes a better footnote than "died in his sleep," so "disappeared on a mountain" is preferable to "remains uncovered." Plus...shrug, I'd rather vanish or repose in open nature than have a funeral anyway.

Anyway, if it's him, it's all a shame. All of it.

Part of me is hoping that he has been found so that his family can get closure but part of me is hoping it isn't him so it leaves me hopeful that Mr Sands is alive and safe somewhere.
