And Now For Something Nice

Today I was on the phone trying to see if there were any Red Cross vouchers available so a homeless family could have a place to stay for a few days but was told due to demand caused by natural disasters there weren't any in this area. No sooner had I delivered that bad news to the family when one of the new volunteers came over and said the family could stay in his furnished basement until they found a place. It was an unexpected and happy development. :-)
