I'm grateful to talk to my brother Glenn today. The Nazi guy?
He ended up homeless and on meth- at 58 years old. He went cold turkey and went to the hospital. He was diagnosed as shizophrenic, and they said he likely was most of his life. He's on meds now- and I can talk to him like we used to talk. I about cried.
Oh yeah- he aint a Nazi no more. Drugs almost killed him, just like it did Richie.

I hope this is the start of a new life for him.

^He's in a shelter, and at 58, with schizo s**t going on- he's about to get SSI. He's safe in a shelter at the moment. He says when he gets his SSI, he's gonna rent a place in Michigan.  Thumbup

I am grateful I was not at home last night. I was feeling filled with rage in a way I very very rarely do. Kristi and Ash don't need to see me feeling that way (feeling calmer and happier today).

Finally getting an IRS advocate who might at last be able to explain why we got a tax bill for one year that was several times our total household income. I'm still leaning toward the whole explanation being some vindictive woman my husband used to date. So many to choose from....

When my dog, Skipper, brought a baby rabbit to us the other day, the little rabbit was alive and apparently unharmed, and we were able to let it go again. It scampered off like greased mercury!

Little bird (looked to be a fledgling) was playing in the dirt under my truck yesterday evening....
Thing was having a ball, dancing & scratching, rolling around, kicking it up...

Finally saw my first caterpillars this year...
About four of them were munching on my fennel plants...
