I haven't heard of more than a couple of these.

This list contains some of the best bad movies of all time, and some real stinkers.
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

I believe in the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

Gotti is really, really bad, like the person it was based on.

Sample dialogue: "If you do that again,  I'm gonna park a bus up your ass. Sideways."

😳😅😅😅

surprisingly unproblematic list!

however, I'm not a fan of HOWARD THE DUCK, but it simply doesn't belong anywhere near a list of best bad movies OR worst bad movies... it is neither

most surprising omission: BIRDEMIC

also, not enough people have seen SCANNERS 3, it never makes these lists
Quotethe movie was cringe, corny, cheesy and "what the biscuits" is with this atrocious acting and childish corny thing of a movie???

I feel like Super Mario Bros. (1993) falls into the same category, kind of, but it's been a long time I saw Super Mario Bros.

I've noticed Elves (1989) popping up on lists more often. I remember watching it for the first time, and it was an eyesore, because they used a haze filter or something. IMDb doesn't list what cam they used, but I believe it was shot on video. Also, it was the first time seeing Dan Haggerty in something other than what made him famous; The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams.

I don't generally get involved in these discussions 'cause I like a lot of "bad" movies sincerely and unironically, and most movies I consider genuinely bad, I just despise 'em.

Also, the older I get, I don't have patience for a lot things that bore me and don't provide entertainment value. I tried to watch VEROTIKA a while back. I couldn't get more than maybe a third of the way through it. It wasn't Good and it wasn't bad in an amusing way. It was just slow and depressingly dull. I dunno, latter-day Glenn Danzig seems to have enough issues - I don't need to waste my time condescending to his poor filmmaking on top of it.

yeah I think my unironic "top 10 movies ever" would be roughly half 'good' and half 'bad'.... but I'm fairly condfident of where the dividing line goes. I mean, FARGO is 'good', THE MUTILATOR is 'bad'.

No GLEN OR GLENDA? (1953)

Maybe they limited themselves to one movie per director. I actually prefer GLEN OR GLENDA to PLAN 9. It's not a bad list.

Their top 5 are defensible (you might want to shuffle the order, of course).

GOTTI is a big surprise and, though it's an interesting bad movie, I never thought of it as top 40 or 50 material.

Danzig made a movie? Is it as bad as Fred Durst's movie the FANATIC?

Not seen it myself but anyone I know who has, says it is pretty damn bad.

Yeah, it's #8 on this list. We've already discussed it more than it probably deserves or needs to be discussed!

M.10rda

Also, GLEN OR GLENDA obviously doesn't belong on the list because it's a legitimately Great film.   Grade-A Outsider Art, yo!
