I can see ups of loosing the karma up-vote system, but I will miss occasionally looking back at my upvoted posts.

A lot of those old plugins and mods are not compatible with the new version.  And likely a number of functions that could be added that are similar.

zombie no.one, the problem might be a linked .gif.  It could also be the file size.  The .gif file type is an allowed extension for an avatar.

If this theme is not to your liking, I loaded a few additional.  You should be able to select a different theme if you want by going to your profile and the Look and Layout section.  Avoid the default theme, named Curve.  That does not want to render correctly.

I'm now using a tablet (iPad)and it's showing fine... couldn't see it when browsing on my phone. Strange. Oh well!
