I've never watched a single one of the ROCKY films, and have zero interest in doing so.

^ I haven't either.
Yet I must have seen RAGING BULL at least 5 times.

I have never seen any of the Star Wars prequels.

I have also never watched any of the Back To The Future films in their entirety. Bits and pieces but not the whole films.

FRIDAY 13th PART VIII: JASON TAKES MANHATTAN is unironically one of my favourite films of all time. (that's not strange Zombie, that just means you have crappy taste in movies - Ed)

I've only seen Rocky IV and that is a hoot!

I wanted to make a movie. I wanted to make a movie so badly, I took an hourglass, turned on my webcam, & videoed it.

That's how I found out my hourglass was an half-hour glass.

That was a few years ago; I'll have to check, to see if I still have it. If I don't, it's no big loss; it took no real effort.

I can tell the difference between a film shot on film and a film shot digitally.

I've watched hundreds of movies, and yet I still maintain WARCRAFT as my favorite.

Quote from: cqmorrell on September 19, 2024, 10:49:57 PMI love movies with ridiculous gore (the lower budget and cheesier looking, the better!) but I absolutely hate movies that have torture stuff.

You and me both. I don't see the enjoyment of watching realistic torture unless you're some kind of sadist, but to each its own. It's one of the reasons of why I kept myself away from stuff like GAME OF THRONES; yay, an entire episode of watching some guy getting his genitals butchered and woman being raped, what a great piece of entertainment!

FTR, the genital mutilation is implicit/isn't onscreen. Actual sexual assault is also almost entirely offscreen. (There are wholly inappropriate/compromised relationships that would likely constitute "rape" legally from a contemporary perspective...) There is, however, no "entire episode" of any guy getting his genitals mutilated or any woman being raped. If that provides you w/ peace of mind.

I must have seen the BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE at least 10 times. I saw it first on Ch.41 one afternooon for the first time with my 2 little brothers. They cancelled the ballgame on TV, so this came on. I was 13-1975. It was uncut!

As someone who loved Stephen King novels, I have yet to see a Stephen King movie adaptation that I've truly enjoyed, apart from the anthology movies like Cat's Eye and a couple of stories of Creepshow. The Dark Tower was pretty good, but I haven't read the books, so I can't make that comparison.

I never got into old classics like Metropolis or Nosferatu.

I can't stand any of the Mafia movies like Goodfellas, Casino, The Godfather trilogy, or anything like that. Just no. Probably because I watch movies for entertainment and escape, and movies like that are anything but.

Similarly, prison movies do nothing for me, except maybe Shot Caller, but that's because it's an extremely well made movies.

I LOVE Michael Bay movies. Okay, yeah, I said it.
