Quote from: pacman000 on September 18, 2024, 02:43:51 PMJust reading about "Face of Death" made me feel icky; I do NOT want to click that link.

I saw THE KILLING OF AMERICA in my hometown cinema in 1984 and I went silent for almost a day afterwards. I believe that it didn't get a cinema release in the USA. Not an easy watch and the ending is very sad with people gathering to celebrate the life of the recently murdered John Lennon.

I removed the link, I don't want to upset anyone as the movie is hard to watch.

^ I was aware of it being fake from day one. But back when it was flying of the VHS shelves, it was fun to see the reactions of folks who fell for it.
Now I had a tape called DEATH SCENES II which was all too real, and I watched it with Tara Sue and her son Jim. When Bud Dwyer pulled a handgun out of a paper bag and blew his brains out on camera, Tara popped the tape out and stomped it!
Can't say I blame her. Pure garbage.

Snow

We do get a light dusting occasionally. We haven't had a white Christmas in many years, though, and it's been ages since I shoveled snow.

Pickled pig feet.
When ever I went to the store to get pickles or peppers, their was always pickled pigs feet.
Not that I eat that s**t, but Grandpa Bonarski did at the dinner table at Christmas.
Sloppy ass drunk 350 pound man in his underwear.

Anyway, I don't see it anymore. I'm sure they sell it somewhere- but not at any store I been to in at least 20 years.

They have pickled pig feet in almost every grocery store here. I know because my sister loves pickled pig feet.

There are two types of Liverwurst in Germany. Scalded liverwurst, fried.

Usually paired and served with blood sausage.

Then there's the Liverwurst spread. I prefer the smoked liverwurst. Sooo good!

^ I'll pass, thanks! I did like old Mother Moytka's home-made blood sausage, though. And served with goat cheese and home-made wine. She was Russian. She had no electricity, just a wood stove and a hand-pump coming out of her sink. She was in her 90's- way back in about 1974.
Dam she was a good cook!
