I think I am still the only person who will cheerfully admit that I saw this in a cinema.  :buggedout:

years ago the entire movie was on youtube, that's the only time I ever saw it... seems to have never had a proper dvd / bluray release? last time I checked there was still no accessible physical media release :(

It's on DVD (Region 1, at least). VOD, too. Ironically, because it was released by a major studio, it's now going to be less available in the secondary market than something that was released by a small timer.

hmm yeah I have sucky issues getting region 1's to work... it's a nuisance.

I re-calibrated my laptop to play region 1's, but recently it decided it doesn't want to play anything.

just looking on amazon, there's a 2007 dvd release (with a warner bros logo on the sleeve), but it's unavailable. and nothing else

did you happen to sneak a massive 1980s style camcorder into the cinema with you, and stealth video-record it all?

I'll trade you my pirated betamax copy of SMOKEY & THE BANDIT III for the footage

That DVD is the one that's available in the US.

😅🤣😆😀

I think I saw it either late 1985 or early 1986. My home town's municipal theatre also showed movies and that is where I saw it. Full house too. 😊😊🐢

I have a deep shameful confession to make.

I have never watched this movie.

I am sorry.  I shall now redeem myself by committing ritual Japanese suicide.  ... as soon as I figure out how to be Japanese first.

I wrote a full review of it years ago for a now defunct website, found a archive of that website and put the review on here ☺️☺️

walked past an abandoned shopping trolley earlier and couldn't resist utilising it as a makeshift pommel horse to bust a few combat moves...  just my little homage. - got a round of applause from random passers by, I think they all caught the reference.
