A group of soldiers in the Vietnam War get sent on a top secret mission to a valley.  Turns out its filled with dinosaurs.

I'm not surprised if people missed this one in theaters. For some reason it had an incredibly limited release. Only one local theater had it, and only had 2 showings. And then it was gone.

Which is a shame. I think a lot more people would like this movie if they get a chance to see it.  It's a lot closer to what a Jurassic Park sequel should have been.  It's gory at times for the horror aspect, and some cool sequences where they do just treat the dinosaurs as just animals

It does go with more feathered dinosaurs.

There is some clunky dialog, but I thought most of the performances were good. When you can, I suggest seeing it.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Never heard of it! Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Y'know, the character played by Frank Grillo in SUPERMAN and "Creature Commandos" has deep lore dating back to comics from the 1950s, where "a group of soldiers" in I guess the Korean War or maybe WW2 "get sent on a top secret mission" to an island iirc instead of a valley and "turns out its filled with dinosaurs." Just goes to show there are finite ideas floating around out there. Or the screenplay started out at WB. Or the writers had read that comic.
