The End of Oak Street (2026)

In the Early 1980's a suburb finds itself transported back in time to the age of the dinosaurs.

This was a pretty enjoyable movie. In a lot of ways its what Jurassic World Dominion should have been. Dinosaurs and modern humans interacting and that being the central plot. It can be pretty mean spirited at points.  There's some blood and gore I wasn't expecting.

Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor give good performances, but their both professionals. They star as a couple who are clearly going through a rough patch in their marriage. I thought the kid actors just did fine. Just fine.

Biggest flaw is the CGI. It doesn't always look so great.  There are several dinosaur species on display as well as a few other prehistoric animals.  The are done with modern deceptions of dinosaurs in mind. I feel the movie missed out on a joke seeing as how much our idea of these animals have changed since the 80s. You could have had someone joke about how dinosaurs didn't have feathers.

I'd say this is worth a watch. I had a good time.
