Florida carhop arrested for indecent exposure

Florida man had to share something with the world.

A Florida restaurant worker was arrested yesterday for indecent exposure after he walked up to a woman's vehicle "while serving her food with his penis exposed through his zipper," according to a court affidavit.

Investigators say Artavian Crumity, a 25-year-old ex-con, was working as a carhop at a Steak 'n Shake in Largo when he made the off-menu delivery. "Video surveillance at the location displays the incident as stated by the victim," police reported.

Arrested for exposure of sexual organs, Crumity was booked into the county jail on the misdemeanor count. He was subsequently released from custody upon posting $1000 bond, and has been ordered by a judge to stay away from the Steak 'n Shake.

In 2020, Steak 'n Shake--which has about 400 restaurants--revived its carhop service in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Just like in "Happy Days" and "American Graffiti," carhops at select locations deliver grub on a tray that attached to a guest's open car window.
