Holy crap, it this what it looks like? A remake of Death Ship?

Directed by the guy who gave us Thir13en Ghosts and written by the idiot who gave us Rollerball--yeah, THAT one--can anyone expect anything but the worst?

Where's George Kennedy when you need him?!?

Yeah I saw the poster for that  a while ago, I haven't been the same after that.

Oh...please. I hope the U.S.S. Dallas has some unused MK48's available................

Chadzilla

Wow, it really looks like they made Death Ship 2...but where is Richard Crenna!?!

...at least we can all hope David Twohy's haunted submarine flick BELOW will turn out good...

Andrew

Squishy, that is probably the most disturbing news I have seen in a while.  The fact that remakes are often much, much worse than the original does not help my dinner stay settled either.

And the poster - looming like some sepulchral stone out of the foetid vapors of a fallen graveyard...

It's not a remake. It just has the same title and a LITTLE familiar plotline. It's a ship that another cruise ship finds (they don't crash into it) and get the military to identify it. They can't. SO the military comes out and visits the ship with some boat experts and they get stuck on it with a bunch of ghosts. Coming from the Thirteen Ghosts guy it prolly WILL suck.

Hey, I *LIKED* Death Ship! :)

Flangepart

Wasen't that the plot of a t.v. movies recently? Ghostly doings on an abandoned liner? Maby a U.S.A  network floater?

BoyScoutKevin

Flangepart is right. It sounds alot like a made for television movie made last year called "The Triangle" w/ Luke Perry, Olivia d'Abo, and Dorian Harewood. About the members of a fishing party, who find themselves on a luxury liner, the "Queen of Scots," that disappeared 60 years ago, in the Bermuda Triangle. Enjoy!

There was also a cheapo movie called The Lost Voyage that was shown on USA or SFC a little while ago. Not too bad with some really creepy parts, but the CGI ship and helicopter weren't the best.
