I saw this film awhile back on TV and it was an american made film about a Boy in High School, that is in love with a girl and decides to sleep outside her house all summer (i dont know why). Also the film, his best friend is a sex maniac.

Does anyone have any idea what this film is called by any chance?

Very much like an 80's type movie that someone like patrick dempsey might star in. I happened to catch it on the tube not too long ago myself, not really sure why I actually finished watching it. Except now i'll think twice about eating watermelon at any parties!
