Have you ever watched a movie so endlessly wretched that it actually makes you kind of sad? Films so bad that you divide your life into two phases, pre-movie and post-movie? Movies that make you ashamed to be a part of a species that could be capable of such crap? I have-

The Devil's Daughter (AKA The Sect)- I rented this on Easter weekend. Even the remembrance of Christ's sacrifice and the existance of an ultimate good could not put a dent in the general malaise this film instilled in me.

when i was 10 or 11 i saw a movie called morons from outer space. to this day( i'm 23) i still can't get over how terrible and bad this movie was. it commited the biggest movie sin of all a comedy that wasn't funny at all.

Shop smart. Shop S-Mart.

Most Albert Pyun stuff leaves with this particular sensation. "Blast!" would be the winner, it never fails.
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

The Honn

Batman and Robin had me reeling for days with its cartoon soundeffects and homo-eroticness. Rubber nipples? Why?

Robo CHIC. That is one movie that gets worse with time. Usually after watching a movie so many times, you begin to understand the plot, but not in Robo CHIC movie. IT NEVER CEASES TO HURT!! Ahhh!! I just rented it to watch it again for my friend's birthday (idiotic thing to do now that I think about it) and it was as bad as the first time I watched it. And here's the kicker... I'm buying it. I will soon own satan's spawn.

Just once have I seen a movie that was so bad that I actually felt physically sick for watching it. It was the movie American Psycho. It was terrible, aweful and uch, i wont write any more because even the thought is p**sing me off.

Oh and Freddy Got Fingered was that bad too.

American Psycho was the worst movie I ever remember seeing.

The sect is indeed Michael Soavi's weakest work but don't let that be your judgement of him. His other movies like stage fright, the church, and cemetery man are great. Also use to like to see his cameos in movies - A blade in the dark, demons, and Argento's opera for example.

Maybe if I had to pick, creature from the haunted sea would be my choice. It surprised me to see how unfunny and boring a movie could be at the same time. Hobgoblins is also another amazingly bad awful movie that I actually sat through (maybe the only thing somewhat cool about it are the way the cheap puppets look) and of course theres always the howling new moon rising and troll 2 which are far worse and ashaming to film making...  all these movies give me the shivers thinking about them.

Vermin Boy

I recently saw Night of Horror, an absolutely AWFUL no-budget movie about some campers who meet the ghost of a Civil War general. I watched The Filth and the Fury right beforehand, and my reactions to this film were strikingly similar to how Sid Vicious described heroin withdrawals.

There are different types of depressing.

In a weird way: Eraserhead

In a bad way: Battlefield Earth

Cripes, I liked "Creature From the Haunted Sea" -- it actually made me laugh.

I got that feeling from the wretched  made for tv  remake of 20,000 leagues under the sea,  the one starring Ben Cross.   The movie made me physically sick over how they had taken an excellent story, that had already been made into the definitive movie, and completely and utterly destroyed it.

Star Trek V  -  What can i say that hasn't been said??   Shatner !! You owe the world a F'ing Apology!!

Three words - JAWS THE REVENGE

Man I was emotionally devestated after sitting through that, I felt raped.  I was embarrassed to be seen leaving the theater.  I wanted to put a bag over my head.

Gosh, remember when the Internet was supposed to be a wonderful magical place where intelligent, articulate people shared information? Neighborhood went to hell real fast... - Anarquistador

Hey, I like MORONS FROM OUTER SPACE.  I think it's hilarious!

Halloween Night.

Not to be confused with the classic, Halloween.

I rented this movie because the box art had a knife and a pumpkin.  How bad could it be, right?  Wow.  If you manage to stay awake through the first 30 minutes, you're in trouble - it'll be the worst Halloween Night of your life.  Consider it a blessing if you fall asleep.  I ended up watching the second half of this movie in fast forward.  And even then, I still couldn't make it to the end.  I'm sure I was about 5 minutes away from the "climax" when I hit STOP.  Rewind.
