Darn!  Squishy and pals beat me to half the bursting grapes, especially since the animated version of Fist of the North Star had so many.

Tromeo & Juliet had father Capulet meeting an ugly end when his daughter plugged the TV in (his head was inside of it).

Ash splattered demon brains everywhere in Evil Dead 2.  "Swallow this!"

"Night of the Creeps" has some heads (full of icky space-leeches) popping.

Tommy Lee Jones shoots the one alien's head off in "Men In Black."

There are plenty more...

Ah,the few that readily spring to mind are the God awful Rutguer Hauer film Wedlock, where a few heads definitely go a poppin'and the Fly 2 where the elevator(or' lift' to fellow Brits)crushes that guys head in disgusting glory.Wasn't there a head poppin' scene in Running Man?Don't remember too readily as I've tried to burn that film from my subconcious.

And in Dawn of the Dead, the "zombie vs. helicopter" scene.  See also third world dictator vs. helicopter in Holocaust 2000.  Both scenes are not so much "head exploding" as they are mind opening....

There's also some head-poppin in death by explosive decompression.  See Outland and others.

And death by constriction.  Technically, this, like explosive decompression, is body-poppin.  On the other hand, Erin Moran's character in Galaxay of Terror....

I just watched "Wild At Heart" and there's a weird head-poppin scene in it...the Hispanic guy with ugly gums gets shot repeatedly by the police, and he loses control of his limbs and winds up decapitating himself by shooting himself upside the head.

the original 'Fly'

the guys gets half crushed in the compacter, if that counts a head poppin seeing as his head was part of the half.

Yes, "Running Man" had a head-pop; all the convicts Arnold was put in with had "Wedlock"-style explosive collars, and one guy ran out of the safety range POOM!
