Little Nicky

Encore was playing LITTLE NICKY tonight and I was able to see the whole thing for the first time. This film is to funny. If I had a collection of comedy this would be in it. Heres my list of favorite comedies:

You and I are very different people.  If I had my choice, I would burn every copy available of Little Nicky.  There's nothing worse for me to watch than a comedy that is horribly unfunny.   I don't have any problems with the other movies on your list, except for Ace Ventura.

Little Nicky is one of the most foul, vile, sickening pieces of diarrhetic slime ever to be spewed forth from the distended rectum of Satan.  Mr. Deeds is the other.  Give me a gun so I may cap Adam Sandler and end the suffering of sane movie fans across the globe!

I still say Sandler's 3 best movies are Airheads, Happy Gilmore, and LITTLE NICKY.

See, most people probably either didn't GET the jokes, or don't find jokes about religious things such as Heaven, Hell, and Ozzy Osbourne to be funny. In other words: f**k 'EM, THE WANKERS.

Err... I'm sorry I watched Life of Brian and Meaning of Life and other religious satire with great joy. Little Nicky was asinine. Even George Burn's "Oh God" was better!

Let me repeat for those brain damaged among us...

LITTLE NICKY IS ONE OF THE MOST VILE, SICKENING PIECES OF DIARRHETIC SLIME EVER TO BE SPEWED FORTH FROM THE DISTENDED RECTUM OF SATAN!!!  Anybody who finds this kind of juvenile and moronic crud to be funny has sniffed glue for far too long, hurl insults all you want about how I don't GET stupid, unfunny jokes (and what was with that stupid face and voice he used, was he trying to irritate his audience to death???).  I'm glad I didn't find this self-indulgent dog turd of a movie funny.  It means I still have half a functional brain left in my cranium.  Those who liked Little Nicky obviously do not.

Whew, sorry about that...really.  I just couldn't believe the vile hatred that movie pulled out of me.  I'll be forced to watch that thing in hell, I'll tell you that.  I gotta watch me some Godzilla, make me feel better.  Soon.

I knew THAT, but it didn't make it funny, interesting, or the character even likable.  Just irritable.  I wanted to smack him with a shovel after about five minutes of looking at his geeky features.

How to explain.  I found the movie too STUPID and PAINFUL to watch.  It was not funny to me at all, I sat there squirming and stone faced.  I think Adam Sandler is irritating and stupid.

Humor is a strange thing.  What some people find funny others do not.  I found Little Nicky to be the most unfunny excuse for a movie ever made.  Others differ, that's fine with me.

I was shaking my head during Mr. Deeds as well thinking "People actually find this crap amusing?"  My wife liked it, so I am going to suffer a lot for whatever b-movie misdeeds I inflict on her.  "Let's just watch that Adam Sandler movie, honey."

Yeah, I've given up arguing about comedy.

I've got one criteria for comedy.  Did it make me laugh?  If the answer is yes, all other movie sins are forgiven.  What's left to argue about?  It's not like somebody's going to convince me I didn't laugh at something.  Or vice versa.

For the record, I didn't like LITTLE NICKY.  But I'll cheerfully endorse other movies just as stupid and likely to induce ridicule.  SUPER TROOPERS, NATIONAL LAMPOON'S LOADED WEAPON I, SCREWED. . .

I found myself cracking up constantly through out LITTLE NICKY. Actually Sandler isn't that great. Sandler hasn't made any of his films funnier by being in it, but this films had non-stop  funny moments in my opinion. Perhaps Andrew Crow is right in his first responce. Some of that stuff was to funny, no disrespect intended towards those of different faiths.

Oh, I forgot to mention WAYNES WORLD in my list of great comedies.
