Does anyone else think that Silent Hill would be a good movie if done correctly? It's a helluva game...very freaky and mind screwing....any takers?

Did anyone ever play Silent Hill?

I DID!! i didnt win tho. but i got to the very end! it was really good!!!  i couldnt win cos i couldnt find a map and i kept running out of time and no one would let me cheat! but it really scared me!! resident evil scared me in a fun sexy way but silent hill scared me in a BAD way!! i liked it!! i never really found out what was happening but i heard it had something to do with drugs so im glad i never found out.  if they made it a movie it would be awful tho.. someone would ruin it, theyd put some new "teen" star in it and that would suck butts.

I couldn't get passed the very begining of silent hill because my friend who let me borrow it had wanted the game back afer a day.  Took me the whole first day to figure out that I had to let the little baby demons kill me at the beginning.  I was running around like a fool forever.  But I did like the camera angles in it.  Movie might be good if they could incorporate some of the aspects of the game into it, and leave out Freddy Prinze jr.  or Vin Diesel  since he's so hot in hollywood now

Yeah!  Maybe it could almost be as good as the Resident Evil movie!

It seems like a good idea, but it might be a little too surreal if they did it the 'right' way. It would be pretty similar to Jacob's Ladder with the flashbacks and such.

They'd need to have Clive Barker directing and none of the Hollywood new blood previously mentioned, and others like Jessica Biel and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Try it with Nasasha Henstridge as the town cop, Bill Pullman (or Hugh Jackman) as the main character.

Can't remember the other characters, but this is a start.

I'd love to, but Crapcom hasn't seen fit to do a bare-bones computer port of it, like was done with the Resident Evil games.
