Anybody have any good hidden dvd features from some of your movies that are actually worthwhile? To be honest I only recently started my collection and didn't really know until recently that there actually were..unadvertised hidden features in some films. Some aren't really that great at all, but a few are. Doesn't seem I can find just one website that lists them "all", i usually have to surf around so i thought it would be interesting if anyone here had any favorites you'd like to share

useful? well, on terminator 2 at the main menu you can type in (with your numeric keys) 09-29-97, which is judgement day according to the film. the words "The future is not set" pop up on the right hand side of the screen, and this unlocks a longer version of the film with an alternate ending!

even though the film is absolutely terrible it has one of the best hidden things ever.  That film is the Bogus Witch Project, it has a secret OJ Simpson football special on it, that if you look at the opening credits had Romero and his gang working on it.  I always had trouble entering the 32 to get the secret because it had to be done at the right time so I just search the chapters on the dvd and found it.

Another interesting bonus is that the Little Nicky dvd actually can be played as an infinifilm version.

woah, i wish I read that e-mail earlier, I just so happened to have watched that movie this afternoon. Something to look foward to. What I never could figure out is if some of these eggs aren't advertised (well maybe most), then what kind of time do people have that they're sitting around punching in buttons and finding this stuff?

It's probably the same set of guys who sit around all day finding out codes for video games.

It seems as if Something Weird Video's release of 'The Monsters Crash The Pajama Party-Spookshow' DVD is nothing BUT easter eggs. This is the most fun you can have.
Some of these eggs are whole movies, some are old film clips (musical & otherwise), some are just 10 seconds long! We spent some late-night hours just seeing how much was there and still couldn't get through it all.

I agree, Spook Show Spectacular is one of the coolest DVDs I own.

My favorite Easter Egg is on the Terror Firmer disc; type in "666" on the menu screen, and you'll go to the "family friendly" version of the film (it skips straight from the first scene to the end credits). Another good one is on Mallrats, where Kevin Smith mocks you for wasting your time on Easter Eggs.

Most DVDs from Something Weird Video have tons of extras on them. They usually have 2 feature length movies, plus coming attractions, short subjects (usually soft-core horror/nudie skits from the 1950s and 1960s) and other stuff. One of the best features is called "let's go to the drive-in." If you access this feature, it is like spending a night at a drive-in theater. They show coming attractions, advertisements for the snack bar, advertisements for local businesses, short subjects, an intermission show, plus both movies. It takes about 3 1/2 to 4 hours to watch it all.
