What movie is actually SCARY?

I just got the dvd of the japanese movie Audition, that movie freaked me out some.

What's it about and what freaked you out about it?

This has a LOT do do with the age of the movie-goer.  I remember that damn cowardly lion jumping out of the woods and scaring me to death.  I think  I ran in the kitchen and pee-pee'd my drawers.   Moving along to my teenage years  - Beyond the Door -  I had nightmares for two weeks.  I'd wake up sweating like crazy; have to throw the pillow in the dryer.  I jumped and did the homer simpson Doh!  a few times during  - Alien - .   Lately,  - The Ring - I thought had some very creepy, if not scary moments.  And after 126,236,543,021 Horror/Sci-fi movies, I don't scare easily.
