right i remember watching this film years and years ago about this female cyborg who comes from god knows where, far as i can remember she wears a red leather skirt, and they send this cop to hunt her down and kill her before she can do......something.........and the only way he can stop her is to shoot her in the eye, with what i think was a big silver desert eagle (probably). and it ends with, or theres a bit, where he does actually shoot her in the eye, and its on an underground train track or something. can anyone help me out with the film title? coz its driving me mad trying to remember the name of it  and i want to try and find a copy of it. please god help me. thanks.

Sounds like Eve Of Destruction, Matt. W/ Gregory Hines as the cop/spy/whatever and some hottie as the cyborg/killing machine/whatever.

Yes, EVE OF DESTRUCTION. The night I watched it will forever be remembered as EVE OF WASTED TIME . . .

Hey I liked Eve Of Destuction. I'm still not sure why that lady wanted the cyborg to look just like her but it did look pretty good. Gregory Hines was good in it(obviously). But where did he ever get off to? Seemed like he dissapeared after this one.

I think he had a TV series for awhile, Lee. He was also in Renaissance Man, and I believe he's been dancing on Broadway for the last few years.

Conrad

"Eve of Destruction" - even when I saw it as a credulous and uncritical youngster, I realised it had more plot holes than a Swiss cheese put through a colander.  But fun!

Lee

Yeah I remember seeing him in Renassance Man now. It's a shame he doesn't show up in movies more often.  But hey, if he's happy with what he's doing then who am I to but in.
