Seen this film K-PAX a couple weeks ago. I remember wanting to see it at the theater, because of the concept on the commercials, but never had a chance to see it and kinda forgot about it. Anyway I seen it recently and really thought it was good. Well done film. Did anyone else like this film?

The Burgomaster

I saw this when it was first released in theaters. I liked most of it, but I thought it got a little sappy toward the end.

Loved K-Pax.  Kevin Spacey is by far one of the greatest actors of our time.  His acting in K-Pax is spot on.  Fantastic story line that unfortunatly losses a lot the second time around.

I had a good time with K-Pax.  Good acting, excellent (if a bit syrupy) story, and a general sense of humor about itself that is fairly rare.

Gotta agree about good ol' Kev as one of the best actors out there.  It's nice to know that even if you hate the movie, you'll enjoy watching one of the actors...  Just like Vincent Price, except no where near as cool.

Yes,

I remember this was a box office flop and was a story that seemed like it would be utterly predictable. However, I aw it on HBO and was so surprised at wahat a good movie it was. The movie was in myopinion, not at all predictable with an actual fun twist at the end, which also leaves it open to interpretation. In fact, i just bought K Pax on DVD the other day.

I had the fortunate pleasure to view K-PAX in the theatres. Sad to hear that it was a flop in the box office, the film was quite good and the reviews weren't devistating towards the movie.

The story was quite interesting and even though it did get a bit sappy towards the end, it was nessisary and is a tear-jerker. The ending is also and example of a what-did-you-think-happened conclusion: was the guy really and alien, or was he crazy? It's the type of ending I like and needs to expressed more often in Hollywood films. Plus the performances of Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges are excelent.

K-PAX is an example of a good big budget film made with substance and style, rather than a movie with special effects and nothing else to offer. It should have been a hit.

I have found out a few things by following Kevin Spacey's carrer.

The Masses Do Not Like Spacey.

It's a sad and hard truth, but true nonetheless.

He is by far one of the greatest actors of our time, and yet he never gets recognized.  Sure, there was American Beauty, but it still wasn't a blockbuster film.  Spacey deserves respect!  The Big Kahuna, LA Confidential, A Time To Kill!!!!  My God this man is a genius!  I only hope that one day he gets the respect he deserves.
