Hey, cool. If its entertaining, Realistic or both, bring it on!  Hah! That trick with the intercepted bullits reminds me of the Red Dwarf Ephisode "Gunmen of the Apocolips" when Cat did the same trick. Love that show......

I know it's stepping out of the topic a little bit, but I was thinking about gunfights and another show came to mind: The A-team (cue music).  Every single episode  has probably the best gunfights ever-- WITHOUT SPILLING ANY BLOOD!!!!  And what about thoses makeshift weapons....

Ah, yesss, the A-Team. Hey, if it goes Boom or Clang, its in. Guess the A- Team went to the same place the Imperial Stormtroopers learned to shoot. Ken Hackathorn or Massad Ayoob they ain't! Hummm, what was the best sword fight in a t.v. show?

Good one, Ring. I'll have to be on the lookout for that ersatz BAR. And Hankwilliams on the speaker...so, oddball can tune in the radio of the future, huh? That bit with the sideways pistol was done in a shooting mag by one of the writers, to compare it to the standard.....no advantage what ever. And if you don't know what the sights are for....STAY OUT OF THE FIGHT! Quigly down under....good flick. Loved the Rifle. Wish i could have one! It looked like a 45-110, insted of a 45-70. He'd need the 110 for the ranges he shot at.

The best swordfight on television? One of my favorites is Jonathan Brandis versus Perry King in "Good King Wencelas." There is also some good bladework in "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World" on syndicated television, especially by the women. The dark haired one is good with a sword and the light haired one is good with a knife. Which is something of a surprise, as a blade is usually a man's weapon. Will Snow, who is also on the show, is also good with a sword. I remember an episode from last season in which he got into a swordfight with a guy, ran the guy through, and as the guy knelt there dieing in pain, the guy's hunchbacked
flunky ran up to the guy and sneered: "Now you know how I felt."
ROTFL. Enjoy
