That scared the crap out of me

When I was a teenager and watching the original CARRIE on TV when the girl walks up to the grave at the end and she goes to place the flowers and the hand comes out of the ground. I wasn't expecting it and hit myself in both eyes with fist clenched. No kidding.

Also waking up from sleep kicking after watching TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE before going to bed.

When I seen THE LEGEND OF BOGGY CREEK at the theater in the 70's. It was suppose to be a documetary or something. Some scary moments in that film.

When I was really young about 6 years old. The wicked witch of the East from THE WIZARD OF OZ always scared me when that music would play and she was in the crystal ball or riding that bike. That memory just shot a shiver up my spine as I typed this.

AMITYVILLE HORROR because when we seen the film at the Drive In it was still considered a true story.

The RING and JAWS had some creepy moments. If I were really young it might have shook me a bit. EXORCIST, PSYCHO, and POLTERGEIST get honorable mention and may have been more if I was younger when I seen them.

Movies these days are more of a study for me. Ideas, images, sound, etc.
