Alright it's Thursday! That means only one more day till Halloween! I'm sixteen and I know just about everyone here is too old to go Trick-or -Treating but is anybody gonna wear a costume ,like go to a costume party, or go Trick or Treating with their kid just for supervision, or just plain wearing a costume for the hell of it. Our new principle at my school has good intenions but she comes up with a few weird rules, you are not allowed to wear a mask. I bet that upset some people but I'm okay with it for now, because my ideas don't need masks. First I was planning on going as "Max" from the "Mad Max" movies, then I realized I didn't have any leather clothing nor the money to buy it (maybe next year) then I wanted to go as a Sword and Sorcery kind of character (like a barbarian or thief dude) but that would require making stuff and I don't have a lot of time on my hands. Then I thought: I'll as a marital artist dude, then I thought "No I'll go as Snake Pliskin from "Escape from New York" Yeah Snake rocks. I asked my mom if she knew where I could buy and eyepatch and a light wig. she said try the store down the street and she asked if I was going as that woman who was missing an eye from the "Deadly Viper Gang" from Kill Bill and I said "No I'm going as Snake Pliskin". LOL!

P.S. Actually I don't need to go trick or treating to get a ton of candy because my grandma ALWAYS over stocks, and there's like tons left over :)

I wanted to find a "Frank the Demonic Bunny" suit like the one on Donnie Darko but I had no such luck.

I think I'll borrow one of my dad's cowboy hats and a pair of his boots.
Then I'll go pick up a cheap mask for the eyes and go as The Lone Ranger.

I've never been him before....
I've been invited to at least 3 different parties so I'm sure I'll have a blast!

if i go to a party i usually dig out my Hunter S. Thompson costume. i wear a visor, with pill bottles hanging off of it with a bag of fake weed. a small notebook in my shirt pocket. a cool rolling stone press pass that i painted. short shorts. white sox pulled up. white tennis shoes. a smoke in a, whatever you call those plastic things you put a smoke in to keep the filter off your lips. and a hawaiian t-shirt. and huge sunglasses that i got at wal-mart.

I'm kind of bummed, I have to go out of town this weekend and it looks like my office tomorrow is dressing up, having a pizza party and trick or treating...dammit!!

Best party I went to was years ago, i dressed as a saloon girl and every respectable person in that place got entirely hammered on the trashcan punch..which was btw served with dry ice

Vermin Boy

I'm catching a screening of Evil Dead 2 in Harvard Square, which should rock considerably. For a costume, I'm dressing as Tyler Durden from Fight Club.

First off, I hate Vermin Boy for going to see Evil Dead 2 in a theater.  But it's cool, because I'm making a road trip to see the Alien re-release.
As for my costume, I'm going as Herbert West.  I'm leaving the black dress slacks sort of to the last minute, getting them tomorrow before we leave, and topped with my Miskatonic University shirt.  The coolest part about the costume is the coat and syringe filled with luminol, though.  My girlfriend works at a vet clinic, and the doctor is a big horror fan.  When he found out I liked Re-Animator and wanted to go as Herbert for Halloween, he took one of his lab coats, splattered it with real animal blood, and gave me a huge-ass syringe they use to inject cows.  Will I be the only one in the theater dressed up?  Probably.  Will I be cooler than everyone else there for wearing a coat covered in real blood?  Definitely.

Mr. Henry gets my vote for best costume.  Awesome idea!

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

Nope. I'm at work until 5am... and it's too cold to wear a costume since it's SNOWING here!@#$%^&*(!
