Ravenous

Just bought this and i was pleasntly surprised. This was one of the most original horror/black comedies movies i've seen recently, it kept me guessing. Great cast, some good dialogue and a cool soundtrack. Anyone else seen this film, what did u think?

I liked it.  I had a good time with it.  You're right, it is pretty original.

For me, cannibal movies are normally a big turn off.  Canibals aren't really scary - they're just gross.  But Ravenous handled the material in a fun and interesting way.  It was hilarious and spooky at the same time.  Great flick.

I agree. The concept-- Eating people gives you superhuman strength!-- sounds like it was made with me in mind! ;)

Soylent green anyone? What about that black comedy where the guy fell into the vat of chocolate and it created a sensationally delicious candybar, in turn they secretly had to keep putting people in the food. Then there's "Alive" which made me vow if ever i rode on an airpane again i was bringing 3 months worth of beef jerky.

RAVENOUS is a good movie. Really enjoyed it. This film might receive cult status in the years to come or one of those good forgotten films like the ones we often mention on this messageboard.
