Ichi. No Scratcy

"Itchi the Killer" Wow! What an interesting movie. Japanese of course. Makes Tarantino look like a p***y and Kill Bill like Land Before Time. I would try and tell you what the movie is about but I cannot find the right words. Anyone see this? Care to comment on what you think about it? I am lost of words at the moment.

Ichi is quite a fantastic movie.  

(Spoilers!!!!)

I loved the mixture of pleasure with pain throughout the film and think that Kakihara is one of the coolest bad guys in film history.  I also loved the fact that Ichi wasn't very manly.  He was extremely whiny and looked like a child.  Amazing!

I do have one question for anyone who has seen it.  Did the rape that Ichi remembers really ever happen?  If not, then how did he AND the girl remember it?  Or were they both brainwashed?

The "rape scene" never happened. The dude hypnotised both the girl and Ichi, that is why they both remember it. At least that is what I can piece together :)
