Saw Mark Hammil on Fox and friends this week, Promoting his new flick.
Anyone else heard about it?
"High school teacher gets chance to write favorite comic book character's film script. " Is the idea. Real comic creators and fans get in the flick, as long as they call Mark by his characters name, "Dennis" He said most folks played along once they got the gag.
Nice bit : Hammil said his wife, who is a dential hygenist, was watchinf the first Star Wars film with his.
Dureing the "Vader menaces the imperial in Tarkins office" scene, she leans over, not takeing her eyes of the actor, and say...."Bad caps."
Ya can take the dential hygenist out to the theater!....
So. Any thoughts?

"Aggressivlly eccentric, and proud of it!"

Been wanting to see this one for quite some time now and I believe that it's actually been released on DVD if I'm not mistaken.

Should be worth a watch just to see good old Bruce Campbell in it.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

My wife picked this up for me at Target about a month ago figuring I'd enjoy it.  It's sort of a comic book version of "Spinal Tap" (though honestly, NOTHING is as funny as Spinal Tap).  Very, very funny movie, with a hilarious interview with Bruce Campbell.  If you're a fan of comic books at all, it's certainly worth checking out for the sheer coolness factor of the scenes at the convention alone.  It would probably also appeal to people in the film industry.  Definitely a must see.

Everything's funnier with monkeys.

I saw it on the shelf at the video shop and was going to rent it but it seemed a little too um...well...geeky & cheesy for me.

I might check it out sometime.

Dropo

It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I'll probably rent it again, sometime. There are some funny lines in it

Does the movie contain the entire 7-10 minute night-vision sequence with Donna D'Erico spoofing the Paris Hilton sex tape, or was that just something they did to promote the movie?
