agreed, i never got into that scream caca. i also blame scream for starting the new lame-PC-slasher film craze. you know slasher films with no nudity and little gore (LAAAAAME!).

First one was alright, an amusing little movie.  Never saw the sequels, didn't fee a need to.  And I agree Chopper, slasher flicks without nudity & gore is heresy.

The first two were cool. The third one had its moments but just had something missing that made it fall short of the first two.

I thought the first one was vastly overrated.  I remember hearing about how good it was, so I rushed off to the theater to see it.  Same tired old slasher movie - seen it 1,000 times.  Not suspenseful.  Not scary.  Same stupid teens partying and getting killed.  It failed as both a horror movie AND as a parody of the horror movie genre.  Part 2 was worse.  I haven't seen part 3.
