Manos- The Hands of Fate

I just watched "Manos the hands of fate" for the first time today. Oh my God that is one of the worst movies ever. I actually feel stupider for watching that. Who else has seen it? I pity anyone else who has.

Could there possibly be a movie worser than this?!?

Yes, Sydus I have seen it and purchased it. I like the opening scenes with the family in the car, then the viewing starts to hurt. All in all I'm a proud owner of MANOS - HANDS OF FATE.

   The fact that this movie is the only one that comes up in topic form about every other month in a forum for bad movies speaks volumes about just how astrocious it is. I have seen the MST3K version of the film several times, but have yet to see it without Joel and the bots despite the fact that I own both versions on dvd. AS a matter of fact I got the non-MST3K version of the film way back on my birthday (December 31).

Ah, the non-MST MANOS is supernatural, really -- it's one of those films that's so bad it stops time.  I swear, I have never watched where it didn't see at least 3 1/2 hours long!  

Pretty cool tacky jazz soundtrack, though.  Especially for a movie that probably spent about 12 cents on music.  Oh, I'm sorry, 12 cents was the whole budget!

Hmmmm . . . that's surprising.  I ordered some stuff from Oldies.com awhile back and I got it in about 5 business days.  They were even quick to replace one of the DVDs that was defective.  I think I got the replacement less than 2 weeks from when I mailed it back to them.

Manos is so 100% terrible my friend wanted me to turn off the MST3K version off after 3 minutes. No lie! Not even the MST3K version could help my friend.

HA finally :) my copy of manos is being shipped.
It took them 15 days.. not bad if the policy says '7-14 days' because that normally means 3-4 weeks.

Can't wait till I have my copy......

i watched it at the end of the worst day of my life and it was an appropriate way to finish that evening

I have finally (FINALLY) gotten my copy of Manos from oldies, and I found myself asking this question: On the 61 minute mark, 2 cops get out of a car in the desert and 1 is shining around with a flashlight. They talk a bit and suddenly one of them gets an object from the patrol car with something red attached to it, waves it around and puts it away and then they both ride off.
I was watching this movie together with my younger brother and we both had NO IDEA what the hell this object was. I even paused the DVD to get a better look at it but it's totally undecipherable. It obviously isn't a flashlight because he just put it away, it kind of resembles a lightsabre but that couldn't be it because this movie was made before star wars.

Has ANYBODY got ANY idea what the hell it was?
