The Burgomaster

I bought this DVD a few weeks ago and finally got around to watching it.  All I can say is "I'm stunned."

Terrible, terrible, terrible in every conceivable way.

The plot involves Rex Reed having a sex-change operation (performed by John Carradine) and turining into Raquel Welch.

An ancient Mae West is also in it . . . she plays a nymphomaniac.

Also on board are a very young Tom Selleck and a very young Farrah Fawcett.

And John Huston plays an old matinee idol cowboy.

Need I say more?

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Now if they only had made it a homicidal cyborg Raquel Welch.  That would have been fun.
