Well, since the movie "Catch-22" was on this morning, it reminded me for fhis topic that one of the "villains" who creeps me out the most is Milo Minderbinder, because of one scene. Through the whole movie he has been operating as a war profiteer claiming he was doing it so that the "syndicate" and the men in the unit who own shares can come out of the war rich. Eventually his activities start to get more and more members of the unit killed, especially when their bomber unit agrees to bomb their own base for the Germans in exchange for the Germans taking some cotton Milo got stuck with from a bad business deal.

When Youssarian confronts Milo one last time, telling him that he's even gotten Nately killed, Milo says that Nately died a wealthy man as a shareholder of the syndicate. Youssarian says that he's dead and doesn't need money. Milo says Nately's family will get it, Youssarian points out that he never got the chance to have a family. Milo says Nately's parents will get it then, Youssarian says that Nately's parents are rich and don't need it. MIlo turns to Youssarian and says quite blandly, "Then they'll understand." Always gives me shivers.

As bad as a friend, family member, or collegue turning on you for survival or because they become crazed would be, to have someone not give a damn about getting you killed because you hurt their bottom line just seems like the definition of cold-blooded evil.

This thread has me thinking of weirdo's in movies. Some image is in my head of a villian or freak who has all his teeth filed to cannibal looking points. Sound familiar? lol

>One of mine is the crook with glasses from Robocop.

Clarence Boddiker played by Kurtwood Smith.

JohnL:

That's right, Boddiker, he was a mean SOB, that's why he's scary.

Now it's time to sing the nation anthem IN AMERICA!!!

Bandit Keith from Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series (episode 12)

The original "Ringu" has Sadako as the little girl and she is TERRIFYING!!!  The people that die look exceedingly creepy too.  The japanese makers actually had to redo them for theatrical release because they were TOO scary originally.  At the viewing with the press & critics they played the video sequence at the very end.  Not ONE person would stay for it because they were too afraid to watch.

Viggo Mortenson playing Lucifer in "The Prophecy".  The part where he says:

" Little Tommy Daggett... would say such beautiful, beautiful prayers, and then you would hop into bed, afraid that I was under there... and I was! "

Seriously.  That part scares the @#%^ out of me!
