Yes, I have pre-ordered season one of ROD SERLING'S NIGHT GALLERY on DVD!  Life is good!

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

I never really caught much of Night Gallery. But I'm a huge fan of the Twilight Zone. I might have to check this DVD out. Thanks.

I have the entire TWILIGHT ZONE collection on DVD . . . a great investment.  But I am really looking forward to NIGHT GALLERY.  Both series were excellent, but some of the NIGHT GALLERY segments were really chilling.  Some of my favorites are (SPOILERS . . . BEWARE!!!!!!!):

* An earwig (an insect with a pincher on its rear end) crawls into a guy's ear and lays eggs in his brain.

* A woman who gets her fingers cut off plants them in her garden.  After she dies, her fingers grow into a new person.

* A boy with the ability to see the future finds out that there will be a nova of the sun the next day and the earth will be destroyed.

What a great show.

Yayyyy! I used to love watching this show, a darker twisted version of rod serling..with a few really bad 70's episodes but overall it was one of those friday nite staples. Is the whole thing on one dvd? That's the only thing that has deterred me from ordering the twilight zone ..i just want it all in one box set

Susan:

Season One of Night Gallery is being released in a boxed set.  I believe that the Twilight Zone episodes are also available in boxed sets.  I bought each DVD separately 4 or 5 years ago, but I think they are packaged together now.

The Sin Eater!!! -- One Halloween party I went to in 1974 had no less than 4 Sin-Eaters in residence --
And, of course, Steven Speilberg directs Joan Crawford in her last appearance as the richest evil b***h in the world.
What a cool show . . .

I first saw this series on a local channel in the late 80's. Various sources claim that it's never been shown uncut since it went into syndication, but I could swear that when I saw it, the episodes were an hour each. I'm glad it's finally going to be available in an uncut form.

Now if they would just release the new "Twilight Zone" on DVD, my collection would be complete. And as a side note, did any of you like the Rod Serling penned "The Town That Turned To Dust"?

Cheese is good food. So are the movies. Not food that is, just cheese.

Which one? The one from the 80s or the one from just recently on UPN?
