I don't know a lot about the graphic novel this flick is based on, but damn it looks sweet!

Yeah, you should read the comics too.
Sin City, A Dame to Kill  For, That Yellow Bastard, The Babe wore Red are the basis of the film and probably the best of Sin City stories.

PS all are by Frank Miller and published by DarkHorse comics

Just read that they've hired the "requiem for a dream" director to do  a "Watchmen"
movie.  Take it for what it's worth, but a Watchmen movie has been in the works for Years.
