When I'm looking to waste some time with mindless sci-fi entertainment I'll watch "Pitch Black" or "The Fortress." Are there any other good movies I could watch along with these flicks?

Fearless Freep

I tend to through "Screamers" in there as well; maybe "Omega Doom" or "The Apocalypse"

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

"Dark City" was my first thought but he said "mindless" and I tend to find it too engrossing.  I was thinking of "something I can watch while doing something else" and while I love "Dark City", it doesn't quite fall in that category for me

Whoops Freep, I guess I missed the word mindless.

My fault.  :o)

You can never go wrong with Total Recall.  There is also Robocop.  i watch these sometimes when there is nothing else to do but watch movies adn I don't wanna think oo hard.

Well that was fun...in a f****in' sick, terrible, not at all fun kinda way.

"Total Recall" was mindfull, damnit! A certian "HEY, OUR PROTAGONIST IS KIND OF LIKE JESUS, BUT NOT IN A SACRILIGIOUS WAY" movie totally ripped off the red pill from it. If you watched it without thinking, how do you interpret the ending?

Death Race 2000
I thought of a bunch more, but some weren't SF and I forgot the rest.

It's not technically sci-fi, but...

"Big Trouble in Little China" is what I put in for times like that.
