THE BAT (1959) - Vincent Price movie that is a murder mystery. Price has one of the more shocking scenes as he blows away a banker in a wilderness cabin after finding out a the bankers secret. The rest of the film has the actors doing their lines just as if they are reading from the book or something. I even figured out who the killer was and oh yes the Freddy Kruger claw hand is indeed a big part of the film. Picked it up for $2.99 at Pathmark supermarket.

I saw that a few weeks ago on TV (the local TV station B-movie program), it was pretty bad, the main female character was anything but an strong, independant mystery solver... she would have done better sticking to period dramas*L*
