i saw a trailer for this last night when i caught the new Exorcist, and it looks pretty twisted. Danny Glover plays some kind of twisted sociopath who locks people in a maze and plays mind games with them. anyone else heard of this? do you all think it will be worth the money?

Saw looks great, but I think you misinterpreted the trailer.  Danny Glover is not the psycho.  He's tracking down a serial killer who nobody has ever seen.  He leaves tapes where he is only a puppet.  This film looks friggin KICK ASS!  It's been getting amazing reviews since it's inital release at film fests earlier in the year.

This is one of the main films I'm looking forward to.  Supposed to be gory "f**ked up" (as the film trailers say) fun!

awwww i see Skaboi. thank you for clarifying that for me. i guess i looked to deep into the editing of the trailer, because there's one scene where it shows the psycho with the mask, then it quickly cuts to Glover's face. sorry for the confusion everyone!

It does look like it could be a hit when it's released.  I just hope that Lions Gate doesn't screw over this flick and "Undead" which is coming up soon.
